E-Signature on Quotes
Every quote you send includes built-in e-signature, so the customer can accept right from their phone — no extra tool needed.
How it works for the customer
- They open the quote link (from email or text)
- They review the company details, line items, totals, and notes
- They draw their signature in the signature pad and submit
That's it — the quote is accepted.
What happens when they sign
- The quote's status moves to Accepted
- The signature and the date/time signed are saved on the quote
- A signed quote PDF is generated and emailed to the customer for their records
- You're notified (push and email), and your team gets a notification
After signing, the hosted page shows "Quote Accepted" with the date and a note that you'll be in touch to schedule.
After acceptance
A signed quote is ready to turn into a job. From the quote's detail page, click Convert to Job — see "Converting a Quote to a Job."
Signing without e-sign
If a customer agrees verbally, you can mark the quote Approved from the quote header. Prefer the signed path when you can, since it captures a signature and a signed PDF.
FAQ
Does the customer type or draw their signature? They draw it in the signature pad.
What's captured? The signature image and the timestamp it was signed, stored on the quote.
Do they get a copy? Yes — a signed PDF is emailed to the customer's address on file.
Can a quote be re-signed after it's signed? No — once signed, the signature is locked. Resend a fresh quote if the scope changes.
