Scheduling & Dispatch

The Schedule screen (in the sidebar) is your calendar. It has two tabs: Job Schedule and Staff Schedule.

Job Schedule (the calendar)

Open Schedule → Job Schedule. It's a drag-able calendar with three views you switch from the toolbar:

  • Month
  • Week (the default)
  • Day

Putting a job on the calendar

There are a few ways:

  • When creating a job — tick Schedule this job and set a date/time on the New Job form.
  • On the calendar — click and drag across an empty time range. You'll be prompted to schedule a new job (or pull an unscheduled job/quote onto the calendar).
  • Drag to move — drag an existing event to a new time, or drag its edge to change the duration. The job's scheduled date/time updates automatically.

Assigning team members

When you schedule from the calendar you can pick which staff to assign. Each event is colored by its first assignee (or by status if no one is assigned).

Staff Schedule (Business tier)

The Staff Schedule tab is a dispatch view for assigning work across your team. It's a Business-tier feature — on lower tiers you'll see a "Premium" lock and an upgrade prompt.

On-duty workers (live map)

Separately, the On-duty workers view shows team members who are currently clocked in on a live map, refreshing every 30 seconds — useful for picking the closest available person to a new job address.

Google Calendar sync

Two-way Google Calendar sync is available as an integration — see the Integrations help. It's separate from the in-app calendar.

FAQ

What if a job runs long? Drag the bottom edge of its calendar block to extend it.

Can I assign more than one person? On Business tier you can add multiple techs to a job (see the job's Assign panel). On other tiers, assign one person per job.

Where do I set the assignee when creating a job? Use the Assign To field on the New Job form (shown when you have a team).

Does the calendar show every job? It shows jobs that have a scheduled date. Unscheduled leads sit in your Jobs list until you book them.
