What are Drip Campaigns?

A drip campaign is a pre-written sequence of email and SMS messages that goes out automatically over days or weeks. The right drip turns one-time jobs into repeat work, recovers cold leads, and asks for reviews while the job is fresh — without you drafting anything.

Drip campaigns live at CRM → Drip Campaigns and are a Business-plan feature.

Why use them

  • Set it once — no daily inbox drafting
  • Hit the timing right — review request the day after a job, a nudge two days after a quote
  • Convert on autopilot — many customers reply to the second or third message, not the first

How a campaign is built

  1. A trigger that enrolls customers
  2. A sequence of steps — each an email or SMS, with a delay before it sends
  3. A status — Draft, Active, Paused, or Archived. Only Active campaigns send.

Triggers

Five trigger events enroll customers:

  • When a job is completed
  • When a quote is sent
  • When an invoice is paid
  • When a customer is added
  • Manual — you enroll customers yourself

Channels

Each step is Email or SMS — you choose per step. Email steps have a subject line; SMS steps are body-only.

Personalization (merge tags)

Insert dynamic values into any message:

  • {{customer.first_name}}
  • {{customer.name}}
  • {{customer.email}}
  • {{org.name}}
  • {{review_url}}

Get started fast

You don't have to write from scratch — start from a built-in template (Post-Job Review Request, Quote Follow-up, Win-back, and more). See Pre-Built Campaign Library.

FAQ

Do I need a paid plan? Drip Campaigns require the Business plan.

Does email cost anything? Email sends are included. SMS depends on your plan's messaging.

How do I turn a campaign on? Open it, or use the Activate button on the campaigns list. Toggle back to Pause any time.

Can I see performance? Yes — open a campaign to see its steps and status. Review-request opens/clicks are tracked on the Reviews screen.
