Pre-Built Campaign Library

You don't have to write drip campaigns from scratch. HandyBook ships with a set of proven templates you can drop in and tweak.

Where to find them

Two places, both at CRM → Drip Campaigns:

  • Empty state — when you have no campaigns yet, the page shows template cards. Click one to create a campaign from it instantly.
  • New Campaign page — the Start from a template panel lets you load any template into the editor before saving.

What's included

The library covers the common home-service moments:

  • Post-Job Review Request — fires when a job is completed
  • Quote Follow-up — nudges after a quote is sent
  • Invoice Payment Nudge — gentle reminders after an invoice goes out
  • New Customer Welcome — fires when a customer is added
  • Referral Nudge — asks happy, paid customers for referrals
  • Win-back (Inactive 6 months) — re-engage quiet customers (manual)
  • Annual Maintenance Reminder
  • Appointment Reminder
  • Spring Checkup Reminder / Winter Prep Reminder — seasonal
  • 90-Day Reactivation

Each card shows the trigger event and how many steps it has.

Using a template

  1. Click a template (empty-state card or Start from a template)
  2. From the empty state it creates the campaign and opens it; from New Campaign it pre-fills the editor
  3. Edit the name, steps, timing, and wording to match your voice
  4. Save, then Activate when you're ready

What to edit before activating

Templates are written in a generic friendly tone. Make them yours:

  • Swap in your actual phrasing and the services you offer
  • Confirm the merge tags read naturally ({{customer.first_name}}, {{org.name}})
  • Check the timing fits how you work

FAQ

Are templates free? They're included with the Business plan, same as Drip Campaigns.

Do my edits change the template? No — creating from a template makes an independent copy. Edit freely.

Can I build one without a template? Yes — use New Campaign and skip the template panel. See Building a Drip Sequence.
