Owner Dashboard
The Owner Dashboard is your customizable, at-a-glance home for the whole business — a grid of widgets you arrange yourself. Open it from the sidebar (Owner Dashboard, the crown icon) or at /dashboard/owner. The header reads Owner dashboard.
It's a Business tier feature. Lower tiers see it in the sidebar with a Business badge and a locked preview.
Adding and arranging widgets
Three controls live in the top-right:
- Add widget — opens the widget catalog. Pick one and it drops onto the grid.
- Edit dashboard — toggles edit mode so you can drag widgets to reorder and resize them. Click Done editing when finished. (You can also remove a widget from edit mode.)
- Refresh AI — regenerates the AI insights feed (see below).
Your layout saves automatically as you drag, drop, and resize — there's no Save button.
Available widgets
The catalog includes:
- Revenue (30 days) — revenue from completed jobs, last 30 days vs. the prior 30
- Jobs completed (30 days) — count of jobs marked complete
- Open quotes — number and dollar value of quotes still awaiting a response
- AR aging — open and overdue invoice balances
- Top customers (LTV) — your top 10 customers by lifetime value
- Lead source ROI — revenue per dollar of marketing spend, by source
- AI insights — anomalies and opportunities surfaced by the AI engine
- Drip campaign performance — open rate, click rate, and attributed revenue per active drip
- Review request funnel — sent → opened → clicked for review requests
- Recurring revenue (MRR) — monthly recurring revenue from service-plan subscribers
- Customers — total customers plus new ones in the last 30 days
- Average ticket — average revenue per completed job, last 30 days
A widget with no data yet shows a small "No data" placeholder until activity rolls in.
The AI insights widget
Add the AI insights widget to surface anomalies and opportunities the AI engine finds in your recent activity. Click Refresh AI in the header to generate a fresh batch on demand.
FAQ
Where is the Owner Dashboard?
In the sidebar as Owner Dashboard (crown icon), or /dashboard/owner.
Why can't I open it? It requires the Business tier. Open it to see the locked preview and upgrade.
Do I have to save my layout? No — moving, resizing, adding, or removing a widget saves automatically.
Can I add the same widget twice? The catalog marks widgets you've already installed, so the dashboard stays clean.
How is this different from Reports? The Owner Dashboard is a live, glanceable widget grid. The Reports section holds the detailed, filterable, exportable reports (Revenue, Profitability, Cash Flow, GL, and more).
