Lead Source ROI Dashboard

Which marketing channels actually pay back? The Lead Source ROI board (CRM → Lead Source ROI) compares what you spend against the revenue each channel produces over the last 6 months. It's a Business-plan feature.

Adding a source

  1. Click Add Source
  2. Enter a Source name (e.g. "Google Ads") and a Monthly cost (USD)
  3. Click Save

There are also quick Common chips — Google Ads, Yelp, Nextdoor, Facebook, Door Hangers, Yard Signs, Referrals, Angi, Word of Mouth — click one to add it instantly.

What the board shows

A summary row across the top:

  • 6-month spend
  • 6-month revenue
  • Net (revenue − spend)

Then a table, one row per source:

  • Monthly Cost — editable inline; click the field, type a new number, and it saves on blur
  • 6-mo Cost — monthly cost over the period
  • 6-mo Revenue — revenue attributed to that source
  • ROI — shown as a percentage, green when positive, red when negative

Editing and removing

  • Change a monthly cost — edit the number in the source's row; it saves automatically
  • Delete a source — click the trash icon (customers attributed to it lose that attribution)

Getting good numbers

  • Tag every customer with a Referral Source on their record so revenue can attribute back
  • Keep monthly costs current — stale spend skews ROI
  • Be consistent with naming — pick one label per channel

FAQ

Why is a source's ROI blank (—)? There isn't enough cost/revenue data yet for that source in the window.

Does this track free sources like referrals? Yes — add them with a $0 monthly cost to see the revenue they bring.

Where does revenue come from? From customers attributed to the source via the Referral Source field on the customer record.

Why is the board locked? Lead Source ROI requires the Business plan.
